* Epic Beaker CP and AP certifications * Proven integration experience (e.g., HL7, FHIR, interface engines) * Minimum 5 years of Epic Beaker build and customization experience Secondary Skills (Nice-to-Haves) * Hands-on implementation experience with Epic Beaker * Prior work in a large Healthcare IT environment * Vendor-side application development or installation background Job Description *Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:* * Act as the technical expert for Epic Beaker on the assigned team, guiding product selection and architecture decisions * Maintain a clear understanding of the organization's short- and long-term strategy; provide expert advice on best-practice solutions * Stay current with industry standards and innovations; adapt and apply knowledge to internal processes and designs * Build and nurture relationships across all organizational levels, including executive stakeholders * Facilitate workshops and design sessions; prepare and present materials that drive consensus and clarity * Create solution artifacts (documents, diagrams, models) to communicate design, rollout strategy, and customer impact * Oversee project lifecycle considerations, including go-live support, downtime planning, and disaster recovery * Develop and enforce architectural standards; contribute to and maintain an internal standards repository * Collaborate with Infrastructure, DBA, Network, HL7 Messaging, and other technical teams to ensure cohesive solutions * Review business and technical requirements to craft and evolve solution designs throughout each project phase * Provide technical design direction, ensuring all software meets enterprise standards and cybersecurity best practices * Evaluate the existing application portfolio; recommend future-state roadmaps aligned with business goals * Mentor junior architects and analysts; conduct peer reviews for design quality and consistency * Assist with budget preparation and cost analysis for proposed solutions Additional Skills & Qualifications * Master of Business Administration (preferred) * 8+ years in healthcare information systems or related fields * Hands-on experience in a Healthcare IT environment * Vendor experience developing or installing enterprise healthcare applications *Location & Employment Type* * *Preferred*: On-site in Kansas City, Kansas (open to someone who is remote * *Alternatively*: Initial on-site travel followed by fully remote work * Full-time, salaried position Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $130000.00/yr. to be determined. getting these from the client as we speak.
