This takes good communication and planning within the business and with our customers." In this role you will learn to process day to day responsibilities of the International Logistics Administrator in order to effectively meetinternal& external customer needs. Improve individual process consistency, accuracy, and timeliness based on increasing experience. * Support and Coordinate:Provide coverage and support accounts for other team members as necessary. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure orders are dispatched /delivered on time and manage customer expectations. Confirm pricing, inventory availability and provide ship date information. * Identify and Resolve:Properly identify the right communication method based on the sense of urgency and issue. Knows how to diffuse a difficult situation and get resolution with the customers. Able to work independently and prioritize workload. * Manage and Communicate:Manage shipping process from planning completion through to shipment for assigned customers and/or sites. Day to day communication and collaboration with customers, operations and 3rd parties. Arrange transportation with forwarders or shipping/freight team, manage process for dealing with International orders including inspection and shipping documentation requirements where relevant. You? Your professional profile includes (or will include after your time with us): * Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or related degree preferred. * Previous experience in Shipping, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain or the like highly preferred * Basic Knowledge of SAP or Order Entry Systems highly preferred * Knowledge of Hazardous Material Shipping a huge plus * Must possess a high level of critical thinking skills. Accounting and order entry skills are highly preferred.
