Vaco is assisting their Memphis based client in their search for a Senior Business Analyst. The position reports to the President of the company. Position Overview: We are seeking a strategic and data-drivenSenior Business Analystto support financial planning, operational performance, and strategic initiatives within our organization. This role will serve as a key business partner across Finance, Operations, Sales, and Digital teams, using data insights to drive decision-making, improve efficiency, and support long-term growth. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, industry experience, and a proactive, collaborative approach. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver accurate, insightfulmonthly financial reportsto the Executive team. Lead annualbudgeting and forecastingprocesses, collaborating with functional leaders across production, operations, and commercial teams. Perform detailedP&L and variance analysis; identify cost drivers, margin trends, and areas for optimization. Work closely withproduction and operationsteams to analyze plant performance, resource utilization, and cost efficiency. Partner withSales and Commercial teamsto support revenue planning, customer profitability, and market strategy. Collaborate withcross-functional teamsto implement advanced analytics tools and develop predictive models. Build and maintain dashboards and reports inPower BI, Excel, and Microsoft Fabricto support real-time decision-making. Utilize technology toextract, manipulate, and analyze datafrom multiple sources Tell compelling stories with data-translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights that influence strategic decisions. Applystrategic planningskills to evaluate business opportunities, support investment decisions, and guide leadership discussions. Present recommendations to senior leadership with confidence andexecutive presence. Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business strategy, or analytics. Advanced proficiency inExcelandPower BI; experience withMicrosoft FabricandSQLis strongly preferred. Proven ability totell a story with data-communicating insights in a way that drives understanding and action at all levels. Strong communication skills and ability toinfluence senior leadersthrough clear and compelling presentations. Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive alignment in complex, matrixed environments. Highlyorganized, proactive, and strategic, with strong business judgment.
