  • Estimated annual base pay: $105,600 (minimum) - $132,000 (midpoint) - $158,400 (maximum)

What You Will Be Doing

  • Work closely with the Global Security Director and other members of the security team to develop the GSOC program, which includes building out the staffing model, standards, procedures, and protocols.

  • Partner with internal key stakeholders to develop and deliver services and systems that enable the GSOC to serve as the central hub for security incident reporting and assessment, crisis escalation, and communication.

  • Develop and operate a global security operations center (GSOC) in line with global security best practices to support and react to emerging geopolitical, economic, and human challenges to the company's operations and interests.

  • Manage day-to-day operations of security teams across all regions to ensure consistent practices and standards.

  • Coordinate with Global Security Technology Manager to ensure physical security systems, including access control, surveillance, and alarm systems, operate optimally.

  • Coordinate security measures for organizational events, high-profile visits, and sensitive operations. Works closely with business leaders in the operation of security programs and systems. Will guide the use of these systems at individual sites and key personnel to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Conduct regular security risk assessments for facilities, personnel, and assets across all locations.

  • Identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies to protect against threats.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for global security incidents and emergencies.

  • Partner with internal key stakeholders to develop and deliver services and systems that enable the GSOC to serve as the central hub for security incident reporting and assessment, crisis escalation, and communication.

  • Coordinate incident response efforts, including incident reporting, assessment, crisis escalation, communication. resolution.

  • Establish and maintain communication protocols for crisis management and emergency preparedness in coordination with security leadership team.

  • Lead, mentor, and manage regional security teams to ensure alignment with global security objectives.

  • Provide training and development opportunities for security staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

  • Foster a collaborative culture that promotes information sharing and cross-functional support throughout Woodward and key stakeholders

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., HR, IT, Facilities) and external partners to ensure security alignment and integration.

  • Build relationships with local law enforcement, government agencies, and security vendors.

  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations related to security and safety to include ITAR regulations.

  • Prepare regular reports on security incidents, risk assessments, and operational metrics for senior leadership.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident records.

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in security operations, risk management, relevant law enforcement or a related field.

  • Experience managing security operations across multiple regions or countries.

  • Proven track record in crisis management, emergency management, counterintelligence, investigations and incident response.

  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.

  • Strong Technical Proficiency insecurity technology systems (e.g., surveillance, access control, emergency notification and mustering). Experience with threat risk intelligence, travel risk management, and incident management technologies.

  • Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to assess risks and develop actionable plans.

  • Ability to prioritize and align efforts with business strategy.

  • Industry certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Physical Security Professional (PSP), or similar are highly preferred but not require.

  • Ability to travel internationally once a year and domestically as needed. Approximately 25% travel time.

  • Knowledge of global security trends, geopolitical risks, and cultural sensitivities.
