Warehouse Supervisor reports to the Regional Distribution Manager in the Americas Supply Chain Organization. |
Job Dimensions (scope, responsibility, approach) |
- Supervises all warehouse activity including receiving and shipping operations and inventory management.
- Collaborates with customers, Bostik affiliates, logistics service providers and all other Bostik stakeholders; proactively streamline warehouse process, reduce overall cost to serve, and improve the efficiency of work processes.

Activities (tasks, resource, outcome, priority) |
- Practice good ergonomic and safe work habits in accordance to OSHA, EPA, and Bostik specific EHS guidelines.
- Maintain warehouse inventory with a 99.5% inventory accuracy.
- Maintains a 99% on-time shipment accuracy in relation to Bostik On-time and In Full (OTIF) Metric.
- Receive inbound goods, Raw Material (RM), Purchased Finished goods (PFG) in a timely manner and report any discrepancy to logistics buyer.
- Work with Customer Service Representatives to resolve customer order issues and insure all deliveries are shipped on-time.
- Maintain FIFO practices to ensure product shipped to not compromise product shelf life.
- Evaluate the inventory levels and work with logistics buyers to control inventory for better utilization of warehouse space.
- Assemble, label, package, and complete shipping paperwork for hazardous and non-hazardous customer and sample shipments
- Practice Safe loading and unloading of shipments onto commercial carrier vehicles
- Complete monthly small parcel reconciliation.
- Complete timely purchase card transaction reconciliation.
- Support Manufacturing improvement efforts in relation to strategic warehouse material placement for time reduction and promoting the safe and easy access to goods for manufacturing personnel.
- Complete Puresafety training in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned.

- Assurance of warehouse operation continuity, continuous improvement and total ownership warehouse processes.
- Development and implementation warehouse space utilization strategy for the safe maximum utilization of warehouse space.
- Establishment internal inventory control of materials in the warehouse (RM, PFG and FG) to ensure accuracy.

Qualifications (knowledge, skill, ability, education, certification, experience) |
- High School Diploma required. Associate or higher level degree preferred.
- 5-10 years of material handling experience with 2 years in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of warehouse operations including: Receiving, shipping, inventory controls, warehouse utilization and OSHA regulation.
- Experience in chemicals warehouse operation preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or manipulate up to 50 lbs on a recurring basis
- Current valid drivers license and certified to drive forklift
- Strong skills in conflict resolution, verbal and written communication.
- Self-starter with demonstrated results as a team member, team leader, and individual contributor.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and conflict resolution.
- Experienced user of Excel, MS Word and Powerpoint. Work experience with a WMS or ERP system is a big plus.
- Demonstrated potential to move and grow across the broader company organization.
- A high sense of commitment to personal and workplace safety.
