Full-time, 40 Hours/week Monday - Friday, 8a.m. to 5:00p.m. Hybrid (Onsite 2-3 Days/Week) Summary: The Manager ACHC and Population Health Analytics will lead the data and analytics initiatives for ACHC, our Pediatric Accountable Care Organization (ACO), and population health driving insights that improve clinical outcomes, patient experience, and cost efficiency. This role is responsible for managing a team of analysts, coordinating with clinical and operational leaders, and developing actionable reporting to support value-based care efforts in pediatric populations. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with the ACO's pediatric population health goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pediatric healthcare metrics, risk stratification, and utilization patterns.
- Lead the creation of scorecards, dashboards and ad hoc reports for internal and external stakeholders (clinicians, leadership, payers).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ED utilization, readmissions, preventive care, and quality benchmarks.
- Analyze claims, EHR, and social determinants of health (SDOH) data to identify trends and areas for intervention.
- Manage and mentor a team of healthcare analysts and data engineers.
- Oversee analytic work prioritization, QA processes for data integration and validation and professional development within the analytics team.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to design interventions and workflows informed by data.
- Collaborate with ACO operations, IT, finance, quality, and external partners to align on data definitions, standards, and governance.
Other information: Technical Expertise:
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain integrity of data sources and promote best practices in data governance.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5+ years of healthcare analytics experience, preferably in an ACO, health system, or pediatric environment.
- 2+ years in a leadership or team management role.
- Strong communication and storytelling ability, especially translating data to clinical and executive audiences.
- Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Preferred direct experience working with pediatric populations.
- Preferred familiarity with Medicaid, CHIP, and pediatric-specific value-based payment models.
- Preferred knowledge of SDOH data integration and care coordination analytics.
