As a leader on our Innovation Team, you'll spearhead the development of a next-generation assembly platform used by General Contractors (GCs) in our advanced off-site assembly facilities. From running micro-tests with individual trades to coordinating full-scale prototypes involving multiple partners, you'll be building the blueprint for how buildings are assembled in the future.
You'll guide the creation of smart production process templates and define the standards for equipment and tools that drive optimal constructability, speed, and quality. You'll also lead a dedicated team focused on QA/QC innovation, helping GCs streamline facility approval and maintain consistent, high-quality results.

Job Responsibilities & Requirements Responsibilities:
Develop production process templates based on the distributed construction methodology that can be implemented into a software tool to be used by GCs to develop production processes Develop rules and standards to be applied during the modeling process to ensure optimal constructability and minimize modeling time and complexity Develop an scalable approach to define kits that will be used during production process Collaborate with Decision Support team by providing inputs and reviewing outputs of processes Develop and manage processes to define tools and equipment Innovate in both product solutions (within modules like cage) and in rapid plant ecosystem of products (i.e. tables, rigging equipment, etc.) Develop "plant readiness" documentation according to production process and schedule Support the enablement team to solve challenges faced in the plant Develop Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes that can be implemented from supplier manufacturing to module punchlist to ensure the maximum levels of quality Co-develop WCI standards and templates to support production process templates Manage the codification of production process for optimal data standardization Collaborate with GCs in development of on-going documentation of trades means and methods to be applied in production process Support the BIM innovation process with expertise on the manage micro-issuances project
Qualifications:
Bachelors in Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or related field required. Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis. 8+ years of experience in project management in construction required. Modular construction experience preferred. Experience in designing off-site production/assembly processes required Experience directing constructability reviews and driving decisions among all constituencies required Experience managing and collaborating with traditional construction trades (framing, electricians, plumbing, etc) to drive optimal solutions required Experience navigating modern technology tools used in the construction industry like Autodesk Suite, Revit, ACC, Navis Works, etc. required Experience solving constructability issues to achieve results that satisfy cost and quality while achieving architectural design intent preferred Ability to read and understand prints and schematics Ability to use small hand-power tools, including reading a tape measure with 1/32-inch increments Excellent planning, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills Able to use Microsoft Office Applications
