Womble Bond Dickinson (US) LLP seeks a highly motivated Counsel in the Denver metro.
Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will work well as part of a team on related cases, including supervision by experienced partners, but must be capable of taking a lead role in independently handling court appearances, taking and defending depositions, retaining and working with experts, attending mediations, and related tasks.
- It is critical that the candidate be capable of managing multiple cases at once, have strong writing and oral advocacy skills, and demonstrate a commitment to delivering excellent legal work for our clients.
- The successful candidate may have the opportunity to utilize junior associates for some case work, such as legal research, where appropriate.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the defense of first-party commercial and residential property claims, insurance coverage, and insurance class actions in Colorado.
- Must be admitted to the Colorado bar or eligible for admission.
- Candidates must have excellent academic credentials and outstanding written and oral communication skills.
Compensation/Other:
- This position may be filled in Denver and accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act, the compensation range for this position is between $180,000 - $200,000+ with minimum billable hour requirement of 1800.
