We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Support Technician to join our team in a full-time, onsite role based in Chambersburg, PA. This position provides critical support for classified and unclassified Department of Defense (DoD) network environments, including DoDNet, DISA CIO/DISA SCI networks, and JWICS Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Responsibilities Include:
- Provide touch support for DoDNet, DISA CIO/DISA SCI network, and unclassified/classified/ Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS) Video Teleconferencing (VTC) and support for LANs.
- Provides touch labor support on VTC equipment and fiber networking connections.
- Maintain and track system, user, address, and network port data.
- Assist with network documentation and user guides.
- Support users with IS issues and develop, update, review and comment on network topologies and facility drawings and diagrams.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:
- Must be a US Citizen with a current DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Must have and maintain at least 1 current certification in compliance with DoD 8570 IAT Level II (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+CE, CND, or SSCP).
- 3-5+ years of related experience in a technical support or help desk environment.
- Must reside within a commutable distance from Chambersburg, PA to work a full-time onsite schedule.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and basic networking concepts.
- Experience with DNS and group policy, ability to troubleshoot network connectivity using common tools like nslookup, ipconfig, tracert and netstat.
- Experience with fiber and EVoIP, patching and system update experience.
- MS Excel experience is a plus.
- Ability to work in a team environment, take the initiative to address identified issues.
- Ability to interface with customers and respond to requests for troubleshooting assistance.
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
- This is a fully onsite position in Chambersburg, PA 5 days/week.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at computer.
Compensation Range: $65,000 - $85,000
