We are seeking a highly skilled Epicor Specialist with extensive experience in manufacturing environments, preferably within or adjacent to the defence industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and functional understanding of Epicor ERP systems, and a proven track record of supporting and optimizing business processes across the full manufacturing lifecycle. Experience with defence sector compliance, traceability, and quality control standards is highly desirable.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for the Epicor ERP system across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and quality modules.

  • Design, implement, and support ERP workflows, customizations, and integrations to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Lead or support Epicor upgrade projects, module rollouts, and ongoing system optimizations & customizations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide training, and support change management initiatives.

  • Ensure ERP configuration supports compliance with defence industry standards (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, ISO 9001, AS9100).

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system procedures, and training materials.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve ERP issues, liaising with Epicor support as needed.

  • Support data migration, cleansing, and integrity initiatives for reporting and analytics.

  • Coordinate with cybersecurity and compliance teams to ensure data security and access controls.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (preferably Kinetic or earlier versions).

  • Deep understanding of discrete manufacturing processes: BOM, routings, production planning, inventory control, MRP, MES integration, etc.

  • Deep understanding of all finance & accounting processes: AP, AR, GL structure, Project Accounting methods, FP&A, etc.

  • Experience working in defence, aerospace, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements such as ITAR, DFARS, and AS9100.

  • Strong skills in Epicor tools including BPMs, BAQs, SSRS Reports, Dashboards, and DMT.

  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Epicor Kinetic

  • Knowledge of integration with third-party systems (Workday, Deltek TIPQA, JournyX CX, PowerBI etc.)

  • Epicor certifications or vendor-recognized ERP credentials, or equivalent experience

  • Experience supporting multi-site or global manufacturing operations.

Work Environment:

  • This is a hybrid role so would require some on-site presence at our manufacturing location in Columbia City, Indiana.

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S and will require background checks due to the nature of defense contracts.
