About the Role

We are offering an internship starting 01.10.2025 where you get the chance to support our Footwear R&D team in technology development, testing and user trial projects for at least 6 months in Feldkirchen-Westerham, greater Munich. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you work on innovations in the field of GORE-TEX Footwear Constructions, to make our products even more attractive.

Responsibilities
  • Support your team in the development and implementation of various products or test methods, also in collaboration with different business areas
  • Proactively take care of the optimization of existing test methods in order to analyze the performance and parameters of our innovations
  • Coordinate and carry out user trials after appropriate training and onboarding, meaning taking over full responsibility for the planning, organization and execution of user trials
  • Communicate closely with the testers, take care of the logistics and the questionnaire
  • Support your team in the evaluation and statistical analysis of the data obtained from the tests in order to be able to make a statement about product performance
  • Take on product oriented sub-projects independently and accompany them through different stages
Qualifications
  • Enrolled in sports engineering, sports equipment with technical affinity, mechanical engineering, material science, textile engineering or a similar degree program
  • You speak fluent English and good German
  • You are a team player, but you can also promote projects independently
  • You approach tasks structured and have the "spirit of research"
  • Having some experience with Statistical Software (SPSS, R, JMP, Minitab) is a plus
  • Ideally you are passionate about outdoor sports like running
