SUMMARY

DAWSON is looking for the next Budget Analyst for Customs and Border Protection Professional Services Support Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM) located in Indianapolis, IN. The Budget Analyst will serve as a point of contact (POC) for carrying out responsibilities of reporting, planning and execution of multiple financial portfolios directly to the federal lead. This Budget Analyst will identify business processes that best suit the CBP practices as it directly relates to knowledge management and other associated programs. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, spend plans, budget preparations and applying CBP using Systems Applications and Products (SAP) to TRIRIGA software programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Commute to Indianapolis, IN. Office twice (1x) per week
  • Works with Power BI database management and maintenance on occasion
  • Manages the timely completion of internal recurring deliverables
  • Analyzes data and identifies improvements or future implementations
  • Organizes and facilitates staff meetings
  • Demonstrates ability to foster partnership with various stakeholders
  • Exercises analytical and facilitation skills throughout the work
  • Conducts training on systems and projects
  • Works with Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power App
  • Identifies potential process redundancies and inefficiencies and proposes improvements
  • Prepares quality reports and presentations for senior leadership within CBP


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience is desired performing the full range of activities
  • related to operations management, analysis, and support within Federal or State
  • Must have or be able to obtain a CBP Public Trust Clearance - Current CBP clearance is preferred
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to tailor format and content to various audiences
