SUMMARY: The Data Automation Operator I will be part of the Data Automation team, focused on enhancing business efficiency and productivity through the automation of scheduling tasks, file movements, documentation and system monitoring in our production environment. This role will not only develop new processes but also analyze and evaluate the user requirements to provide solutions that will fulfill the business need, foster a positive work environment, and ensure effective communication and collaboration.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and special projects may be assigned.

  • Work closely with users from different areas to examine and analyze business needs for new or existing processes, for flows of data and expected outcomes.
  • Design and create critical workflows, file transfer processes and other automations for both internal and external clients.
  • Help identify dependencies needed for successful automation, analyzing impacts for any modification requests or additions.
  • Work with PMOs and application teams to design and improve automation architecture and scheduling of jobs.
  • Monitor automated jobs, troubleshoot failures, and escalate issues in a time-sensitive production environment.
  • Create, update and maintain documentation.
  • Ensure scheduled tasks meet established SLAs and deadlines.
  • Resolve platform integration issues involving Tidal, Informatica, SSRS, OBIEE, SQL, Tableau, and other applications.
  • Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
  • Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
  • Identifies and reports suspicious activity.

EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a related field; or equivalent experience in Technology Operations, and/or engineering, with a focus on Automation administration, database architecture, AWS, and data management support preferred
EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 Years Hands-on experience with job scheduling tools, preferably Tidal Automation and MoveIt preferred
  • 1-3 Years Experience in Information Technology, with a focus on automation, AWS, system integration, or operations required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Understanding of Lambda, JSON, PowerShell, Bash, and system-level commands
  • Knowledge of Informatica, Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Confluence, JIRA, QuickSight and ServiceNow experience preferred.
  • Agile driven.
  • Strong technical and communication skills.
