PSC Group is looking for a high-potential, servant leader to mentor, coach, and inspire our PSC employees at a state-of-the-art facility in Baytown, TX. This role will oversee our production, warehousing, and bulk loading employees at our Advanced Recycling facility. The supervisor will ensure that all operations under his or her direction strive to achieve excellent performance in the areas of safety, product quality, environmental compliance, and on-time shipping. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (Must be available for flexible hours with periodic weekend work and overtime)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Collaborates with management to ensure all daily production goals, safety and environmental requirements are met.
  • Collaborates with office teams to ensure all loads meet appointment, labeling, and documentation requirements.
  • Collaborates with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure all inventory data is recorded accurately.
  • Samples products for quality control and turns in paperwork to Inventory Coordinator.
  • Processes samples of plastic resin in laboratory for melt and density.
  • Ensure sample analysis are conducted per operating standards and with a high level of integrity.
  • Works to understand and problem solve day-to-day operations in the warehouse department (shipping schedule, re-packs, cut-offs, hot items, hot request, etc.).
  • Communicates goals around operating performance and addresses performance issues when needed.
  • Participates in safety meetings and overall training initiatives.
  • Performs safety and quality observations in the warehouse.
  • Reviews safety / quality observation forms and identifies trends or areas of concern.
  • Plans and assigns daily workloads for work group and follows up accordingly.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned to complete the job.


Preferred Job Qualifications:



  • Experience in a leadership role involving some form of plastics recycling or industrial manufacturing is preferred, however, other relevant experience will be considered
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred, however, other relevant experience will be considered
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient skills in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint



Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.
