Overview
Administers technically advanced computerized access control and picture identification systems for Mercyhealth. Functions as a subject matter expert on all access control matters and inquiries for the Lenel and/or Genetec systems. Performs Administrative Assistant duties for the Security Department. Periodically required to be on-call nights and weekends for access control issues. Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous access control experience preferred. Certification and Licensure Certification by Lenel to contact their technical support preferred. Certification by Genetec to contact their technical support preferred. Maintain a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with proof of vehicle insurance Have and maintain an acceptable driving record per Mercyhealth's HR.100 Fleet and Driver Safety policy. Special Physical Demands While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to sit, to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk, hear, stand and walk. Specific vision abilities required by this job include frequent close vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus. The position requires occasional vision abilities of color vision, and depth perception. This position requires occasional climbing, bending, crouching, crawling, kneeling, balancing, twisting, push/pull, lift/carry, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
