This is a remote position with the preferred location being Massachusetts.

Base Compensation Range: $85,000 - $100,000

*In addition, you qualify for:



  • Annual equity award of $10,000
  • Commission target of $57,000

This position supports our Calibration Solutions business. Our Calibration Solutions portfolio uses the principles of advanced metrology to enable customers to measure and calibrate critical parameters in applications such as Environmental and Process Monitoring, Dialysis, Gas Flow, Air Quality, and Torque Testing.

Job Summary

In this role you will be working on products to improve quality of life for patients, workers, and consumers worldwide. Our products and services directly impact the critical environments that advance medical breakthroughs, keep industry moving, and ensure the safety of products we use every day. Your work can have a direct impact on your life and the lives of those you love. The Regional Sales Manager that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for driving sales growth and meeting and exceeding sales goals in the assigned sales US territory.Remote with preferred locations in Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.

Duties/Responsibilities



  • Identifies customer needs and effectively addresses them with Mesa Labs products and services.
  • Generates interest and cultivates new sales opportunities through prospecting, leads management, referrals, and RFPs.
  • Meets or exceeds sales goals in assigned territory.
  • Maintains and expands business with existing customers by developing strong service/business relationships with multiple buying influencers.
  • Cultivates relationships and facilitates meetings between customers and Mesa Labs,
  • Utilizes CRM and other standard Daily Management tools proficiently and diligently to drive priorities and manage by fact. Maintains CRM data continually.
  • Identifies threats and opportunities using sales data and customer feedback
  • Effectively manages their sales funnel and provides accurate forecasting on a monthly basis.
  • Achieves regular and consistent customer call and visit activity expectations
  • Complies with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
  • Commits to continuous improvement in skills and capabilities, including selling skills, product and application knowledge, and commercial processes
  • Elevates customer perspective of Mesa Labs through consistent professionalism and timeliness and serving the needs of external and internal customers.
  • Participates in Problem Solving, Kaizen, and strategy events as needed.
  • Participates in Sales meetings, training, and other internal meetings as needed.
  • Collaborates effectively with Mesa team members and assists in onboarding of new hires.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable regulations and ethics.
  • Maintains a positive and courteous demeanor with guests and employees.
  • Able to work cross-functionally with service, customer service, finance, and marketing to develop solutions and solve customer problems.


Experience/Education



  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in sales with technology products is required.
  • 5 years minimum experience as a sales leader with a demonstrated track record of above-plan performance in Industrial, Technology, or Medical/BioPharma industries.
  • Minimum 2 years of successful sales or experience with Mesa customers and products is preferred.
  • Experience selling or working with Continuous Environmental Monitoring products and services is a plus


Knowledge and Skillsets Required



  • Demonstrated effective presentation and sales planning skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; demonstrates ability to deliver timely and useful multi-mode communications to both internal and external customers
