DevOps Architect

Presidio Networked Solutions, LLC seeks a DevOps Architect to lead the design and deployment of scalable architecture for customer workloads with a strong emphasis on continuous delivery practices, security controls, and governance process. Be a Cloud Evangelist educating a variety of teams on the value of the Amazon Web Services, Azure, and/or Googles Cloud Platform and related services. Participate and lead architectural discussion built on cloud architecture best practices, building client confidence and ensuring customer success when building new or migrating existing applications, software, and services to the cloud platform. Conduct workshops and knowledge enablement sessions to transfer product knowledge to customers interested in Cloud. Capture and share industry best practices with clients and communities. Author and contribute to customer-facing publications such as whitepapers, tutorials, and blogs. Attend and present information at industry events. May telecommute to New York, NY from any U.S. location.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Eight (8) years of experience required as an Architect, DevOps Engineer, or a related occupation.
• Experience must include: DevOps; Infrastructure as Code; Build and release operations; Software development process; Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment; Change and release management; AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service; AWS Elastic Container Service; Azure Kubernetes Service Engine; Google Kubernetes Engine or Red Hat OpenShift. The required skills do not need to be maintained over the full term of required experience.

Job Location: New York, NY

Rate of Pay: $179,982 to $195,000 per year
