As a TPA Sr Strategic Account Executive, you'll create the strategic retention and growth plan for customers with the goal of serving and renewing accounts. You'll merge your business savvy and relationship skills to become an extension of the customer's business.

Position in this function is responsible for the development and maintenance of business relationships of assigned customers. Serves in a consultative capacity to ensure customer satisfaction, retention, contract renewal, revenue maintenance, and adding additional lines of business. Provides consultative input in the design of a customer's benefit plan(s) and health and welfare strategy through the relationships established with customers and brokers.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Retention, growth and increased profitability of existing business, the acquisition of new business on existing accounts, customer satisfaction and the strategic direction of assigned accounts
  • Establish, cultivate and manage the customer relationship at multiple levels (including C-Suite), serving as a healthcare consultant and trusted business advisor to this customer
  • Direct strategic, customer specific initiatives, which deliver 'value added' services through the execution of client specific business plans
  • Value delivery to customer including plan performance, account management and service results
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge base of assigned customer, beyond the traditional healthcare - focused information/knowledge, to become an extension of the customer's business
  • Clearly demonstrate the value propositions for specialty and ancillary business to improve customer growth and retention
  • Coordinate and influence superior customer service delivery developing and maintaining solid intercompany relationships
  • Strategically plan and meet with customers quarterly, identifying trends and offering solutions per the Insight Driven Solutions (IDS) consultative and solutioning process
  • Prepare, host and follow - up an annual/quarterly strategic planning session with the customer
  • Determine and clearly articulate the value story, trend drivers and tracking of solutions performance to the customer
  • Maintain a high level of healthcare industry knowledge as well as customer's industry

Required Qualifications:



  • Insurance License
  • Proven track record of 3+ years working with senior-level executives and progressively increasing responsibility for client relationship management and consultation
  • 3+ years of strategic and consultative selling experience within large group accounts in the insurance industry
  • Proficient at messaging, positioning and presentation of information for customer impact and influence
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation



Preferred Qualifications:



  • TPA experience
  • Prior implementation of group knowledge



Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits re subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $60,000 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. This role is also eligible to receive bonuses based on sales performance. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
