Marketing Operations Team

This is a 6-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Culver City, CA or Cupertino, CA.


Summary

We're seeking a Marketing Operations Technical Specialist to join a high-impact operations team responsible for enabling on-device communications, automation, and process improvement for media products and services. This role will focus on building technical solutions that enhance efficiency, scalability, and accuracy across internal marketing systems.


Our Ideal Candidate

  • 3-5 years of experience in technical process design, automation, or data engineering
  • Passion for marketing technology and operational efficiency with a strong foundation in backend systems, analytics, and solution architecture
  • Proficient in Python, SQL, Snowflake, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST APIs, and tools like Kubernetes
  • Familiar with data modeling, warehousing, and modern development frameworks (e.g., React, Next.js)
  • Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and marketing operations
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple complex projects end-to-end
  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, new technologies, and evolving team needs
  • Strong written and verbal communication with exceptional problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Experience in SaaS, subscription-based platforms, or large-scale operational environments is a plus


Job Description

In this role, you will design and implement scalable tools, processes, and automation strategies to support marketing operations across digital platforms.

You'll partner with engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions that improve software issue resolution, campaign execution, and process visibility. This includes:




  • Enabling automation for issue tracking, escalation, diagnosis, and communication



  • Managing technical development from scoping to implementation across APIs, data pipelines, and user tooling



  • Driving data integrity and model scalability for internal reporting and decision-making



  • Leveraging analytics and ML tools to identify patterns and influence future development roadmaps




You will also support internal tool adoption, maintain documentation, and help drive alignment between business needs and engineering strategy to scale marketing initiatives effectively.


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Analytics, Computer Science, or related technical field
  • Background in data engineering, development, or technical operations
  • Experience in ML, LLMs, or prompt engineering is a plus

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from:




  • $69.00 - $72.25 per hour in Culver City, CA



  • $75.00 - $77.45 per hour in Cupertino, CA




This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements
