Position Summary The Patient Ambassador will serve as a resource for our patient families, rounding with both donors and prospects alike, helping to ensure that they have a positive and seamless healthcare experience with Valley. The Patient Ambassador will also work to establish long-term and meaningful relationships with our families, while educating patients and Valley staff alike on the importance of philanthropy. Education A Nursing or other medical professional degree preferred; alternatively, Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience Candidate should have 3+ years experience working in a hospital environment with clinicians, staff and administration Skills Candidate should also have a good understanding of fundraising and the culture of philanthropy. Candidate should have work experience that demonstrates meaningful relationship-building and show competence regarding legal and ethical issues related to the patient data/privacy.
