Description o Originate high quality loans which meet FCMC guidelines o Develop business relationships with local Real Estate agents and Builders o Manage territory of First National Bank Texas and First Convenience banks; educate employees of FCM mortgage programs o Develop contacts with Banks partner store management team o Take customer loan applications, including pulling credit o Conduct presentations to include First Time Home Buyer Seminars, realtor sales meetings, product training, etc. o Communicate with borrowers and real estate agents throughout the loan process o Issue and explain pre-qualification letters, disclosures and all other initial compliance documentation for borrower; includes Good Faith Estimates, Truth-In-Lending and APR o Depending on location and business need, this position may serve as a general office manager. Responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, general correspondence, supply maintenance, and clerical staff schedules. o This position may also serve as acting liaison between position locations and corporate management regarding office incidents, business needs, and client concerns. o Travel as needed to meet business needs o Other duties as assigned Skills loan origination, customer support, Time management, Organization, Team collaboration Top Skills Details loan origination, customer support Additional Skills & Qualifications o At least 18 years of age o High School Diploma or Equivalent o 2 or more years of recent mortgage origination experience o Knowledge of VA, FHA and conventional mortgage loan programs o Knowledge of running LP, DU Underwriting Systems o Experience with Ellie Mae mortgage originating and processing software o Self motivation and capable of working from a home office with limited supervision o Ability to review and understand credit reports o Ability to organize and prioritize o Good communication and presentation skills o Comfortable working in a commission only environment o Must be able to get along with co-workers and work effectively in a team environment Experience LevelEntry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
