The team is responsible for building and configuring network racks in data centers and customer-adjacent locations to provide port capacity (e.g., 10G, 100G, or even 100T) based on customer needs. The role involves rack setup, configuration using internal tools, and delivering network capacity to customers. The day-to-day responsibilities involve using internal tools to configure and deploy network devices and racks. The ideal candidate is a Network Development Engineer (NDE) with prior data center build experience and strong automation skills, particularly in Python or other scripting languages. Automation is key, as the role focuses on simplifying and streamlining configuration tasks through tooling. in networking and scripting is essential for success in this role. Required: * Should have a minimum of 7+ years industry experience. * Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols. * In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols; specifically BGP and OSPF * In-depth knowledge of and experience with major router platforms * Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills. * Candidates should also have had significant past experience with, and expertise in many of the following protocols & technologies: 802.2/3, 802.1d VLANs/STP, IPv4 & IPv6, TCP (internals & flow control), BGP, OSPF, HSRP/GLBP, PIMv2, IGMP, LDP, TACACS, IPSEC & VPNs, netflow, DNS, HTTP. Prefers AWS formers but at minimum looking for data center experience Experience Level Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
