About the Role: Are you an advertising sales professional looking to make an impact in the media market? An opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Account Manager to drive sales with new and existing accounts for advertising and sponsorship sales within the physics market across North America. Primary responsibilities include prospecting for new business, managing existing account relationships and proposing marketing solutions from across the AIP (American Institute of Physics)/ Wiley portfolio of products to support our customers in achieving their marketing goals. Responsibilities Include: * Acquiring new customers, building and managing strong relationships with clients * Knowledge of digital advertising and content marketing solutions * Upsell existing accounts for growth within North America * Develop strong internal relationships with key stakeholders * Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and the delivery of profitable sales growth * Emphasis on selling across the physics portfolio * Strong understanding of advertising concepts and digital ad solutions * Effective communication skills (verbal and written) * CRM management How you will make an impact: * 2+ years experience in successfully prospecting, winning new business and managing accounts * Experience working with Managers, Directors, Product Managers in technical marketing roles * A high level of accountability to achieve growth * Skilled negotiator and communicator * Excellent presentation skills * Strong CRM knowledge and ability to build and manage sales pipeline * Time management and an ability to work autonomously. * Bachelors degree or higher About Wiley: Wiley is a trusted leader in research and learning, our pioneering solutions and services are paving the way for knowledge seekers as they work to solve the world's most important challenges.
