Description

Salary range $60,000 - $70,000 (DOE)

This position works under minimal direct supervision to ensure accurate and timely work is being performed to best meet the needs of the customer, the achievement of departmental goals, and the achievement of overall company goals. Helps to ensure a safe and clean work environment and operate company material handling equipment as needed while following the company's safety policies and procedures.

Provide maximum flexibility in the team by performing sales duties in the venues and key assigned chain along with the Key Account and Events Manager to Odom standards and goals. Occasionally Perform draft system repairs as back up to the draft department at accounts as required to maintain sales relationships and supplier standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

On Premise Venue Sales and Service and Special Events



  • Visit Odom on-premise venues according to their events calendar to order, merchandise and maintain our draught products through stocking adequate quantities. Attend events as required for on-call draught technician support.
  • Provide sales assistance with KAM to local chains and other sales opportunities during brand transitions and focus periods.
  • Maintain proper cleanliness and optimal operating condition of all Odom owned draught service equipment, including jockey boxes and draught trailers. Repair or replace said equipment as necessary to maintain proper service levels.
  • Operate company vehicle(s) according to company safety practices, and tow draught trailers to event locations as needed.
  • Examine keg stock to verify conformance to quality specifications and take pride in products being distributed.
  • Stock and rotate our products from the back stock stored on customer locations with care, concern, and diligence.
  • Perform essential job duties all on time, efficiently, accurately, safely, and in a time sensitive manner due to event schedules, while avoiding interference with peak operational periods at venue or event.
  • Participate and receive on-the-job training related to Odom procedures regarding use of materials handling equipment, company draught equipment, company vehicles and draught technician practices.
  • Support all company events in coordination with other event team members.



Draft Support



  • Maintain on-call availability for phone tech support to sales and management team as needed for field draught repairs as back up to draft department.
  • Maintain proper care and condition of company-owned service vehicles, tools and equipment
  • Perform job duties in a safe manner; considerate to themselves and to others.


Job Requirements



  • Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license, good driving record, proof of insurance (SR-22 is not acceptable), and a reliable means of transportation for getting to and from customer accounts.
  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Prefer a working knowledge of the beverage industry or grocery retail experience.
  • Must be self-motivated, a self-starter, and able to work with very little direct supervision.
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal.
  • Highly organized, with a strong ability to work quickly and accurately while handling competing priorities.

  • Operates a rider power pallet jack and hand cart to transport products all in a safe manner.
  • This position requires constant lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of 27-55 pounds and frequently lifting/moving/pushing/pulling of up to 170 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift from floor to waist and from shoulders to overhead, uses hands to fingers, handle or feel objects, tools, or other controls, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is required to sit, climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch in the performance of their duties.
