Occupational Therapist (PRN)

Howard County General Hospital - Columbia, MD

Join our compassionate and collaborative team as an Occupational Therapist (PRN) at Howard County General Hospital, a proud member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. We're looking for a dedicated therapist to provide top-notch care and help patients regain independence and quality of life.


Key Responsibilities


  • Evaluate and treat patients to improve physical, sensory, and cognitive function.



  • Develop individualized care plans based on patients' goals and diagnoses.



  • Provide age-appropriate care for patients from infants to seniors.



  • Document treatment sessions and progress in a timely, accurate manner.



  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and caregivers for comprehensive care.



  • Supervise occupational therapy assistants, students, and aides.




Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.



  • Experience: 2+ years preferred (new grads with internships may be considered).



  • License: Current Maryland Occupational Therapist license (or eligible).



  • Certification: Current CPR certification.




Salary Range: Minimum $1.00/hour - Maximum $1,000.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
