We are seeking a uniquely qualifiedOperations Manager position to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme.

Position Description:

You will be an Operations Manager supporting the Program Manager in Port Hueneme and will be responsible for 20-50 people involved in various projects locally and at travel locations.

Work location and telework:

The government work location is the Port Hueneme, CA and you may be required on base, supporting the customer up to 5 days a week. Some teleworking or work from the contractor's location may be possible with the customers' approval.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist the Program Manager in completing projects and managing staff
• Leading the planning, execution, and successful delivery of major programs, system development projects, or technology advancement efforts that are critical to achieving organizational objectives.
• Managing large-scale, multi-year projects structured into multiple sub-programs or tasks.
• Ability to formulate and lead technical strategies.
• Negotiating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to obtain the necessary resources.

Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's level degree in any technical or managerial discipline.
• 15 years of professional experience in program/project management

Preferred / Desired Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• PMP
• 20+ years of professional experience
• Integrated Logistics and Sustainment

Travel Requirements:

• Limited travel to the continental United States (primarily east and west coasts)
• Possible overseas travel
