TEKsystems is HIRING!! - Access Control/Security Engineer - $35-$45/hr Looking for an experienced individual with extensive knowledge in installing and troubleshooting Access Control/Security systems in Commercial settings. This person will be part of a team that will ESTIMATE and BID work for customers as well as OVERSEE the installation and service teams completing the work. Primary systems include Lenel S2 and Paxton Looking for someone with project management experience that understand full lifecycles of jobs Secondary responsibilities would be to oversee the company's IT equipment and assist in setting up and troubleshooting/repairing: Networks, desktops/laptops, routers and switches. The customers serve are in the Education, Healthcare, Industrial/Commercial, and Government sectors. MUST PASS COMPLIANCE - 10yr backgrd, 10 panel DT, and MVR Job Description: Engineering 1. Working knowledge of network protocols and function 2. Working knowledge of data cabling (fiber and copper) 3. Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems 4. Working knowledge of working at the command line interface 5. Working knowledge of network attached storage and RAID configurations 6. Appropriate certifications Microsoft, CompTiA, and or associated equivalent 7. Ability to work with partner technical support and assist dynamic troubleshooting 8. Maintain detailed documentation withing the Dropbox infrastructure Inside Sales/Physical Security Estimation 1. Work with current partner contacts for quoting and line card knowledge 2. Manage partner relationships 3. Good interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with clients 4. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 products 5. Proficiency with the current line card software packages(Digital Watchdog, Milestone Systems, S2 Netbox, Paxton, ETC.) Project Planning and Coordination: 1. Develop project plans, outlining scope, timeline, budgets, and resource allocation. 2. Coordinate and lead project kickoff meetings with clients and internal teams to understand their security needs and project requirements. 3. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineers, technicians, and procurement, to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned. 4. Oversee the day-to-day management of security integration projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules. 5. Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly. Procurement: 1. Project assessments are key to identifying what materials or services are required. 2. Evaluating and choosing suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability and availability. 3. Being aware of inventory for project to avoid shortages or delays. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
