Position Summary

The Clinical Program Manager monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of social services provided to the patients. They assist with the development, implementation, evaluation and direction of clinical programming designed to carry out the organization's objectives related to Social Services. The Social Services Manager manages the daily operations of the department, including (but not limited to) interviewing and hiring new Therapists, training newly hired Therapists, assessing the competence and performance of Therapists, managing the department schedule, and providing support to Therapists regarding complex treatment or discharge plans.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develops Clinical Programming for all inpatient services, ensuring programming is appropriate for each unit
  • Coach, mentor and teach all clinical staff in leading groups, monitors and evaluates groups, provides recommendations to staff as needed
  • Develops action plans in accordance with the Fidelity Program requirements, ensures actions and requirements are met

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or other related field required.
  • Four (4) years direct clinical experience specific to family, individual and group therapy with patient with psychiatric diagnoses preferred. One - two (1-2) years experience in clinical and administrative supervision preferred. For specialized issues or treatment modalities, training must be specific to these; abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, sexual trauma, vocational, play therapy, art therapy and relaxation therapy. Must have knowledge of human development over the life span.
  • Valid FL license (LSCW, LMHC or LMFT) required
  • Good oral and written communication skills required to communicate in a clear and concise manner with patients, physicians, staff and administration.
  • Stable emotional makeup required to work in a fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
