Responsibilities
Dover Behavioral Health - Director of Performance Improvement Develop and maintain a comprehensive and integrated risk management and performance improvement program which meets regulatory standards for the hospital. The Director, Risk Management & Performance Improvement strives to emphasize an organization - wide approach in regard to continually meeting and /or exceeding licensing and accreditation standards, in order to deliver quality care, safety and cost-effective treatment. Essential Job Duties: * Define and implement goals and objectives for continuous organization wide performance improvement and risk management programs * Facilitate and prepare the hospital for Joint Commission, CMS, and state surveys * Ensure appropriate and timely reporting of occurrences by maintaining a Healthcare Peer Review Reporting system (occurrence notification system) * Coordinates the ongoing implementation of the facility wide risk management program T.E.RM (The ten elements of Risk Management * Serve as leader for all risk and performance improvement committees including the Quality Council, Patient Safety Council, etc. * Deliver risk management and performance improvement reports and metrics to the Board of Trustees, Medical Executive Committee, the Management Team, corporate team, etc. * Collect and screen all risk and performance improvement related date; analyze and trend data and report findings to appropriate parties Qualifications
