Overview

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting their assigned Project Manager in the planning, management direction, project completion, client satisfaction, and financial outcome of assigned construction projects. The ideal candidate will be required to assist their assigned Project Manager in coordinating all contractual requirements, design drawings, and project specifications.

Location & Travel Details: You'll get the opportunity to travel across the US, helping our team build infrastructure projects. This is a traveling position, up to 100% of the time. You have the potential to be placed on a project site located in any state throughout the US. You'll spend 8-12 months on average per project. We offer designated weekly per diem in addition to base pay to support and help you cover living expenses and relocation assistance. The position includes a vehicle allowance. Travel home rotation will be paid for by Lemartec to cover one weekend per month away from the jobsite.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with 3-5 years work experience within the construction industry. In lieu of degree, 7+ years of work experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities in a dynamic fast pace environment
Superior communication and organization development skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with and manage cross-functional teams
Experience with Microsoft Office
OSHA Certification
Project Scheduling Experience
Document Control Experience

In addition to the above listed minimum requirements, candidates who poses the following skills, experience, and capabilities may receive greater consideration during the evaluation process:

Experience in projects greater than $20 million
Ability to travel within the U.S
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
