Job Description

We're seeking a creative thinker and passionate leader to join us as Territory Sales Manager. In this role, you'll coach, motivate, and develop a high performance inside sales team, providing an environment where team members can make meaningful contributions from day one while also advancing their professional growth.

You will be responsible for developing and executing proactive sales strategies that not only meet and exceed ambitious sales targets, but also consistently deliver exceptional customer experience. Your team will play a crucial role in growing our client base, both by introducing innovative new solutions to new clients and by expanding existing partnerships through additional offerings that drive value for our customers.

Responsibilities

You will establish a plan to guide your team's long-term approach to pipeline growth, ensuring a steady flow of opportunities to support sustained success. You will consistently achieve team targets across Services, Support, and Product revenue, demonstrating unwavering commitment to goals and deadlines.

In addition, you will:

  • Hire, coach, mentor, and inspire your team to elevate individual and team performance
  • Foster a culture of accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to drive alignment and uncover new growth opportunities
  • Monitor key performance metrics and leverage data to refine strategies, improve forecasting accuracy, and maximize pipeline
  • Actively participate in rep/client conversations to support complex deals and strengthen relationships
  • Manage team forecast

Qualifications

  • Measurable track record in business development and overachieving sales targets
  • 5+ years of direct sales experience selling software solutions to mid-size and large enterprises
  • 3+ years' experience in Sales Management, Channel Management or in a Team Lead or Mentor capacity
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Sold complex solution software and professional services
  • Experience with account-based selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques
  • Strong analytical skills in business and technical complexities
  • Exemplary interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Excellent problem solving, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Experience working with Salesforce and the reporting/analytical features
  • Strong utilization of MS Office, especially Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and OneNote
  • Willingness to learn with a desire to improve

Additional Information - What can you expect?

Travel

  • This position requires up to 10% travel. Travel is frequently by air, is outside the local area and overnight. Access to a reliable automobile and a valid driver's license are required as well as the ability to legally enter both Canada and the US.

Total Compensation

  • Year 1 Compensation (base salary + commissions)
  • Base Salary: $75,000
  • OTE Range: $165,000 plus
