Description The Medical Education Program Coordinator II role administers the compliance and clearance process for students enrolled in clinical rotations and educational experiences at MaineHealth. This person works directly with provider-level students and their sponsoring schools to collect required paperwork (i.e. immunizations records, confidentiality agreement) in addition to coordinating hospital access for students during their experience. The person in this role will maintain key networking relationships with site contacts at each of the MaineHealth hospitals and partner schools, promoting standard compliance processes while adhering to hospital policies and procedures. The Med Ed Coordinator II plays a key role in communicating the learner's compliance status with other key stakeholders across the system and ensures the student can hit the ground running on their first day. The right candidate for this role will be diligent in following procedures, comfortable recommending procedures where lacking, and will be extremely detail oriented. Previous professional experience must include proven success juggling multiple competing priorities, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to track and process large volumes of data. This is a hybrid position with some required on-site days that are mostly pre-planned. The majority of day-to-day responsibilities can be accomplished remotely.
