Responsibilities:



  • Work collaboratively with content experts and various stakeholders to design and develop simulation scenarios.
  • Effectively manages and documents medical simulation equipment and technology projects, purchases, implementation strategies, and installations.
  • Maintains and updates medical simulation and technology equipment and software to prevent extended downtime and outages.
  • Facilitates repair and replacement of medical simulation and technology equipment to ensure minimized downtime and impact to the department.
  • Creates innovative and effective practices to proactively improve and maintain technologies to optimize capabilities and minimize technology and equipment issues.
  • Mentors and provides instruction on simulation technician duties.
  • Assesses medical simulation equipment and technology issues and implements a strategy for resolution based on best practices.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Experience - 3 years of operating and managing medical simulation equipment, A/V or IT experience.
  • Education - Bachelor's degree in relevant field (or 4 years of experience in lieu of degree)
