Opportunity Overview: Long-term contract opportunity for a Training Instructor reporting to the Plant Director. Locations vary. Your Day-to-Day: The Nuclear Training Instructor develops training programs for personnel working in nuclear facilities. You will ensure all training meets regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal procedures to maintain an accomplished and safety-conscious workforce. Develop and deliver classroom, simulator, and on-the-job training for nuclear plant personnel (e.g., operators, technicians, and engineers). Maintain training materials in compliance with INPO, NRC, and site-specific requirements. Conduct evaluations, exams, and performance assessments to ensure knowledge retention and skill proficiency. Participate in the Training (SAT) process: analysis and development. Support continuing training, initial licensing, and requalification programs. Provide mentoring to trainees and junior instructors. Who You Are: Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Physics, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience). Previous experience in a nuclear facility (e.g., licensed operator, maintenance, engineering). 5+ years of experience with nuclear plant systems, operations, and safety protocols. NRC Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license (preferred for operations instructors). The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90 hour to $100 hour.
