We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Clerk to support daily operations in our shipping, receiving, and inventory functions, while also handling a variety of administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy and comfortable using AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and streamline repetitive processes. Key Responsibilities: Logistics & Operations: Process incoming and outgoing shipments, verifying contents and ensuring timely delivery. Maintain and update shipment logs, tracking information, and inventory databases. Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and warehouse staff to schedule pickups and deliveries. Monitor stock levels and initiate restocking orders as needed. Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, labels, and bills of lading. Administrative Duties: Manage digital and paper filing systems for logistics documents, invoices, and contracts. Handle data entry and document formatting. Support basic office tasks including ordering supplies, scheduling meetings, and maintaining internal records. Assist in maintaining compliance with safety, customs, and company regulations. AI-Assisted Tasks: Use AI-based tools (e.g., chatbots, scheduling assistants, document generators) to manage appointment setting, automate form creation, and generate standard reports. Input data into AI-driven platforms to forecast inventory needs or optimize delivery routes. Use AI chat or dashboards to streamline communication with team members and external partners. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field is a plus. 1-2 years of experience in a logistics, shipping/receiving, or administrative support role. Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software. Comfortable learning and using AI or automation tools (training provided). Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Good written and verbal communication. Preferred Skills: Experience with ERP or WMS software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle). Exposure to platforms like Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools for office work. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
