Tesla sets the bar for what a trustworthy and resilient charging network can be. The Charging Operations team ensures that Tesla continues to deliver the best possible charging customer experience through proactive engagement and growth of the global charging network.

The Special Operations Deployment Manager is a key contributor of the North America Charging Operations team. This dynamic and fast-paced project management role is responsible for logistics, coordination, documentation and processes, and deployment planning for Charging Mobile Assets. Projects will include planning for peak network utilization and resiliency events which are critical for customer experience and network uptime, in addition to tactical mobile deployments for high waiter's sites. The individual will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders including logistics, field service, engineering, internal systems, and Charging leaders.


What You'll Do
  • Project management for mobile asset deployments including logistics, documentation, and stakeholder communication
  • Process review and optimization for deployments to increase efficiency and lower cost
  • Support with unit modifications and homebase management including travel to see mobile assets in person
  • Strategic deployments for customer experience, product testing and charging support for broader company
  • Continuously drive efficiency improvements with internal systems

What You'll Bring
  • Ability to travel to various project locations as needed (60-75%), often on short notice; includes international travel
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study like Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent experience
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with an eye for efficiency and priority
  • Superb communication skills
  • Ability to anticipate challenges and solve before they become costly to correct
  • Highly energetic personality, with a flexible attitude towards critical tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word

    • Associate Technical Construction Project Manager - $88,000 - $132,000/annual salary
    • Technical Construction Project Manager - $100,000 - $150,000/annual salary
    • Sr Technical Construction Project Manager - $124,000 - $186,000/annual salary
    • Staff Technical Construction Project Manager - $144,000 - $216,000/annual salary
    • Sr Staff Technical Construction Project Manager - $172,000 - $258,000/annual salary
    • Principal Technical Construction Project Manager - $200,000 - $300,000/annual salary
    + cash and stock awards + benefits for all levels

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
