Basic Qualifications
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
Duties and Tasks:
* A senior level advanced position in contract management
* Administers contracts and monitors contract performance
* Acts as focal point for all contractual communications and commitments to customers
* Maintains documentation and files in accordance with applicable processes
* Assures compliance with applicable federal regulations and internal policies and procedures
* Participates as a key member of the proposal or program team to address contract requirements
* Collaborates with the Capture/Proposal/Program Manager, including Program Manager to support the
overall contract performance which may include preparing Request for Proposal documentation
* Reviews or supports reviews of proposals including management of the source selection process by
participating with the proposal evaluation team in fact finding, technical evaluation, and cost or price
analysis, as applicable
* Reviews Requests for Proposals and participates in preparing compliant proposal responses
* Negotiates contracts within business goals and documents substance of discussions, agreements, and
results; Negotiates terms and conditions including estimated cost/price, delivery,
quality, and performance requirements
* Reviews contract documents for accuracy, performance risk, and conformance with
contract terms, conditions, and other provisions including applicable federal regulations and business
team objectives prior to signature / acceptance
* Collaborates as a key member of program team to ensure contract requirements are fully understood
and executed
* Responds to internal and external inquiries regarding contract issues, audits, and compliance
requirements
* Manages contract change process and works with the Program Manager, including Program Manager,
Engineering, Finance, and other disciplines to mitigate performance risk
* Advises and supports business team on issues / developments relative to assigned contracts
* Monitors program performance for scope changes and takes appropriate action
* Builds customer or subcontractor relationships and knows customer needs and
issues
* Supports an overall understanding of the Contracts Department operations and GDMS
enterprise objectives

* Demonstrates strong knowledge of applicable federal regulations (FAR/DFARS) and contracting
experience with prime contractors as well as all contract types
* Has experience reviewing and analyzing contract documents for accuracy, performance
risk, and conformance with contract terms, conditions, and other provisions
* Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with
personnel at all levels
* Demonstrates strong analytical/critical thinking skills
* Possesses a strong attention to detail and research skills
* Is able to prioritize/re-prioritize with changing goals
* Collaborates and works effectively cross-functionally throughout the business
* Possesses strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office) to support effective communications and
business needs
Desired: Experience with production contracts, ISAs, and/or repairs.
Target salary range: USD $134,230.00/Yr. - USD $140,000.00/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
