Job Overview

This role supports the Manager, Business Governance, focusing on data analysis, reporting, and business insights. The Governance Analyst collects, analyzes, and interprets data, builds dashboards, and produces actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. Advanced proficiency in Excel, Tableau, Power BI, and Smartsheet is critical.

What You Will Do

• Analyze and manipulate data sets using Excel, identifying patterns, trends, and key insights.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Excel, PowerBI, and Smartsheet.
• Generate reports and executive-ready presentations using PowerPoint and Canva to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address data gaps and validate reporting accuracy.
• Support the design and maintenance of governance reporting frameworks.
• Identify data-related issues, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.
• Maintain data integrity and accuracy across reporting and visualization tools.
• Help simplify data collection and reporting processes to improve efficiency and visibility.
• Promote a culture of acceptance and respect, nurturing authentic connections within the team and across the organization.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Who You Are

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  
  
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field preferred but not required.
  
  
• 2-3 years of related experience and/or training.
• Demonstrated ability to manage executive stakeholders.
• Requires regular sitting, talking, and hearing; capability to use hands for handling and managing samples. Occasionally requires mobility within the workplace and reaching with hands and arms; requires close vision.
• Flexibility in working hours based on department and company needs is essential.
