Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose of this role is to support the School of Nursing in coordinating and managing clinical & preceptor sites in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (
DNP) programs. The clinical placement coordinator also identifies, recruits, & tours new clinical/practicum agency student placement sites for
DNP students & assures that clinical & preceptor hours are met for students' needs. |

The School of Nursing is dedicated to equipping individuals for the nursing profession, ensuring they possess the essential skills & knowledge for quality, safe, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive program offerings include traditional bachelor of science in nursing (
BSN) tracks, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (
ABSN), and RN to
BSN pathways. We are proud to offer a new Doctor of Nursing program, further expanding our educational horizons. Students in all programs benefit from academic excellence fostered in small, flexible classes guided by supportive faculty. |
Minimum Requirements |
1. Applicant must hold a master's degree in nursing or above.
2. Applicant must be eligible to hold RN unencumbered license in NC
3. A minimum of two year's of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
4. Current knowledge of nursing practice |

2. Demonstrates the ability to build relationships with clinical partners & collaborations for nursing program clinical placement.
3. Demonstrates teaching experience in an institution of higher education or equivalent.
4. Excellent verbal & written communication & interpersonal skills
5. Ability to contribute to a positive work environment in the School, College, and University
6. Certified APRNs preferred |
