Aon Is Looking For A Premium Finance Account Executive

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our business group within Aon. Ideally, this is a hybrid position out of our Chicago, IL office however 100% remote candidates will be considered.

What the day will look like:

  • Identify clients and prospects who might be candidates for financing by meeting with account teams and office leaders to review renewal and target lists.
  • Generate new premium finance loans while driving the client retention process.
  • Research, analyze and prepare proposals and finance agreements for ARS clients either using software or direct contact with a premium finance company. Provide direction to clients and Aon colleagues regarding premium finance questions and issues.
  • Gather account data from ARS account teams on renewal and prospect clients and work with the premium finance company to resolve appropriate deal structure to optimize the opportunity.
  • Proposal creation and follow-up including design and negotiate insurance premium finance alternatives for clients and prospects.
  • Maintain various account tracking logs/databases as required.
  • Customer Service, including responding to inquiries from Aon management, producers, insurers and/or clients
  • Support the local Premium Finance Manager in driving financing growth within the assigned Aon Regions
  • Work to resolve outstanding premium finance debts, as necessary.
  • Other special projects as directed.

Skills and experience that will lead to success:

  • Knowledge of Financial statements, Insurance industry structure, policies, and issues. Basic knowledge of multiple commercial insurance coverages.
  • 1+ year of premium insurance finance experience preferred, or insurance industry experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, including negotiating and development/delivery of clear and concise presentations.
  • Ability to professionally interact with all levels of internal and external customers. Self-motivated, goal oriented, able to work in fast-paced team environment.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Experience with Microsoft products.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or relatable premium finance or insurance industry work experience.

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $75,000 to $90,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
