Supervise accurate Inter Company mail pickup and delivery. Ensure maintenance of doors and windows as they pertain to security, i.e. properly opens/closes, properly locks/unlocks, ensure public entrance/exits are properly adjusted, working and clear of obstructions. Responsible for researching camera surveillance and camera maintenance May be required to transport cash and/or receipts. Ensure buildings are opened and closed as business dictates. Collaborate with management and law enforcement as needed. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be 21 years of age Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Familiarity with Ski Resort Operations is useful Supervisory and strong interpersonal skills required Strong security/mechanical background helpful Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record No criminal record Ability to react to unusual circumstances appropriately and work independently Basic computer skills required Must be able to work weekends, holidays, late evenings and/or early mornings. Must be flexible as business demands change JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and support the property control team in daily duties and incident response. Monitor premises and operations to identify potential theft, fraud, or safety risks. Maintain accurate records and reports for all incidents and inspections. Ensure accurate pickup and delivery of intercompany mail Ensure Deer Valley property is patrolled and call police in case of disorderly conduct and/or suspicious activities Ensure windows and doors are locked in unoccupied spaces Ensure property control staff assist guests as needed Train staff on loss prevention policies, safety protocols, and emergency procedures. Maintain the proper repair and re-keying/ locksmithing of all door/window locks and hardware at the resort Ensure property control staff can activate or disable all alarm systems as needed (Fire, burglar, etc.) Ensure property control staff can identify, repair/troubleshoot/replace components of alarm/surveillance systems Ensure property control staff can locate all main electrical switches, water valves, drain valves, gas valves, automatic fire extinguishers, manual fire extinguishers, alarm devices, entrances/exits in the event of an emergency of any type Ensure property control staff operates equipment safely and follows company policy regarding vehicle use and procedure Ensure property control staff maintains a log for each shift Help ensure guest satisfaction Ensure employee adherence to established policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Year Round PAY RATE: Pay: $24.00 per hour Pay +$1/hr during night shift (11pm-5am) Additional Information The resort operates seven days a week. Work schedules will include weekends, on call, holidays, and night shifts. Employees must be willing to work various shifts.
