Position Description
Provides less complex engineering services, under direct supervision, to the operations and maintenance departments of a generating station. Also provides support for the operations and maintenance departments and staff. Entry level position for new engineers who are expected to familiarize themselves with overall generating station operation.
Essential Job Tasks:
Provide engineering assistance for safe, reliable, and economic operation of generating units. Assists in the coordination, execution, and support of equipment performance tests. Assists with providing or performing occasional capital or construction engineering services for generating plant equipment and processes. Attend and assist in generating unit start-up, shut-downs, and other significant events occurring at various time periods and extended durations on an as needed basis. Assists in the monitoring, trending, and diagnosis of station controllable loss parameters and recommends remedial measures to operations or maintenance. Provide administrative departmental assistance including procurement of materials and services, work identification and planning, budget preparation and reporting, training and development of employees, and safety and operational procedural updates. Provide effective technical communications in and across departments by attendance of meetings and presentations, submittal of reports, and other correspondence as required. Prepare monthly or other reports to include GADS, performance, progress, and inspection reports.

Engineer III
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited University or College + 5 years of experience. FE/EIT License required.
Compensation Information:
$91,990 - $114,990 (min. - mid.)
Engineer II
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited University or College + 2 years of experience. FE/EIT License preferred.
Compensation Information:
$82,520 - $103,140 (min. - mid.)
Engineer I
Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an EAC/ABET accredited University or College. FE/EIT License preferred.
Compensation Information:
$74,010 - $92,500 (min. - mid)
