All work described for the Acquisition Specialist II Position Support to the following Department of Justice (DOJ) Programs: 1. Department of Justice Acquisition Career Program Functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Assisting in the final development and implementation of the DOJ Acquisition Career Program (ACP). * Administering an 1102 Mentor/Protege Program which includes maintaining information on participating mentors and proteges. * Assisting with the administration of Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) Professional training for cohort participants. * Tracking each cohort participant's status in the program to include developmental assignments, on-the-job training (OJT), special projects, progress towards FAC-C Professional, completion of DAU and FAI Credentials, training completions, and other ACP associated assignments, activities, events, and training. * Developing and maintaining a digital presence of information related to the DOJ ACP. * Developing and maintaining a digital presence and portal for participants of the DOJ ACP. * Promoting and overseeing participation in cohorts, networking events, and other planned group activities under the DOJ ACP. * Tracking and documenting achievements of the DOJ ACP. This is to include the successes of the Program as well as its participants. * Tracking and documenting short- and long-term successes of participants that go through the DOJ ACP. * Facilitating the DOJ Office of Acquisition Management's (OAM's) response to Government-wide and Department-wide data calls relating to its efforts with recruitment and retention of entry-level 1102s. This includes coordination of Bureaus' submission of data to OAM, data aggregation, and meeting reporting requirements. * Other associated activities related to managing the implementation of the DOJ ACP plan and supporting all stakeholders of the program. 2. DOJ Acquisition Career Management Program (ACMP) Functions include, but are not limited to, the following: * Understanding the OFPP Policies, FAI Guidance, and DOJ Policies on Acquisition Career Management to enable the drafting of communications, plans, standard operating procedures, guidance, etc. for Bureaus and Components on the DOJ ACMP. * Creating and/or revising pre-existing documentation related to the DOJ ACMP (e.g. policies, templates, forms, etc.) * Recommending improvements to the DOJ ACMP. * Recommending improvements to training and professional development efforts for the Acquisition Workforce (AWF) Members. * Recommending how to assess training and/or staffing needs. * Responding to questions or issues relating to FAI's Instance of Cornerstone on Demand (FAI CSOD). * Reviewing and recommending approval/disapproval of submitted documentation relating to the Federal Acquisition Certifications (FACs). * Pulling reports and reviewing trends in Certified User Data. * Reviewing of actions approved by Bureau/Components for accuracy. * Developing and maintaining DOJNet (intranet pages) for updates. * Supporting other activities related to the Office of Acquisition Management related to policy, training, and workforce development, as needed. REQUIREMENTS YOU BRING: * Able to obtain a Public Trust * Preferred - Previously held DAWIA Contracting Professional Certification or FAC-C Professional (previously held FAC-C Level III or DAWIA Level III certification is also acceptable). * Preferred - Previous Experience with Acquisition Workforce career management, talent management, training management. * Preferred - Solid understanding of the Federal Acquisition Certification (FAC) Programs. * Preferred - Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Products (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) BENEFITS YOU'LL ENJOY: 1.
