Ready to take the lead in defending against today's most advanced cyber threats? As a Lead Information Security Analyst at Triumph, you'll be the go-to expert for protecting our systems, data, and networks. You'll design and implement cutting-edge cybersecurity tools, lead incident detection and response, and mentor a team of analysts-all while staying ahead of evolving threats in the digital landscape.

Day in the Life
In this role, every day is an opportunity to stay ahead of threats and make an impact. You'll monitor security alerts, investigate abnormalities, and quickly respond to incidents. You'll conduct audits, perform vulnerability assessments, and recommend enhancements to keep our defenses strong. Along the way, you'll partner with teams across the business, contribute to strategic projects, and guide junior analysts as they grow.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Protecting critical systems and data by detecting, investigating, and responding to threats

  • Defining and managing access privileges, control structures, and resources

  • Conducting audits to identify risks, inefficiencies, and security violations

  • Leading vulnerability assessments and facilitating remediation efforts

  • Implementing and maintaining security controls to strengthen our cyber defense posture

  • Preparing reports to communicate system performance and security status to leadership

  • Documenting security policies, procedures, and evidence for audits and compliance

  • Supporting regulatory requirements including SOC I, SOX, GLBA, and FFIEC

  • Reviewing daily system health checks and addressing deficiencies

  • Providing on-call support and answering security-related requests as needed

  • Mentoring junior analysts and contributing to overall team objectives

  • Staying current on evolving threats, security trends, and best practices through training and certifications

What Makes You a Great Fit

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field-or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of professional experience in information security or a related field

Certifications

  • SANS GSEC (highly preferred)

  • CISSP (preferred)

  • Azure Security Engineering Associate or AWS Security Specialty (a plus)

Core Security Tools & Technologies

  • SIEM tools, log analysis, and monitoring

  • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, MFA, DLP, and EDR solutions

  • IAM and PAM (role-based and attribute-based access controls)

  • TLS and certificate management, patch management, vulnerability scanning

  • Email filtering, phishing analysis, and SMTP header review

  • Endpoint, mobile device, and wireless security

  • Cloud security platforms (Azure, AWS) and analytic tools

Frameworks & Compliance

  • Familiarity with CIS 2.0, NIST 800-53, and FFIEC CAT

  • Experience with SOC, SOX, GLBA, and FFIEC compliance requirements
