Triumph is seeking an experienced Senior AWS Cloud Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud infrastructure that powers enterprise-scale applications. In this role, you'll drive automation, improve cloud security, and build scalable solutions using AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. Day in the Life
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at Triumph, you'll manage critical AWS environments across Development, QA, and Production. You'll spend your day automating infrastructure with Terraform, troubleshooting performance issues, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers, IT teams, and business partners to deliver secure, high-performing cloud solutions that keep the business running at scale.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Architect, design, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications

  • Manage key AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, Route53, and more

  • Automate provisioning and configuration using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps

  • Collaborate with cross-functional DevOps and engineering teams to deliver scalable cloud solutions

  • Monitor and troubleshoot cloud performance, security, and compliance issues

  • Implement governance policies with tools like CloudCustodian for cloud cost management and compliance

  • Support enterprise cloud architecture, including multi-account strategy, advanced networking, and IAM automation

  • Maintain documentation of cloud systems, processes, and best practices

  • Research and implement emerging AWS and DevOps technologies to improve reliability and scalability

  • Participate in an on-call rotation and provide occasional after-hours support

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of IT, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering experience with AWS infrastructure management

  • Deep hands-on expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, ALB/ELB, CloudTrail, KMS, Secrets Manager, Route53

  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps

  • Knowledge of cloud governance, automation, and cost optimization with CloudCustodian or similar tools

  • Solid understanding of enterprise cloud architecture, security, and networking best practices

  • Experience with Linux server administration and Agile methodologies

  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or SysOps Administrator) are a plus

  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Occasional stooping or kneeling may be necessary.
