Job Title: Electrical Engineer III

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Subject Matter Expert to join our team at our Ashburn location. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mission Critical/Data Center projects, be comfortable working directly with customers, and have a strong background in design and construction administration.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Lead the design of electrical systems for Mission Critical/Data Center projects
  • Manage construction administration tasks to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Review electrical testing reports and provide feedback to ensure compliance with industry standards


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering OR RELATED EXPERIENCE
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on Mission Critical/Data Center projects
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to lead design teams and manage construction administration tasks
  • Experience reviewing electrical testing reports and ensuring compliance
  • Possesses knowledge of engineering code and standards
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 10% travel
  • Hybrid in office and work remote from home office flexibility


Essential Duties:


  • Performs engineering analyses, evaluations and research studies on small and large facilities
  • Prepares reports on design, construction, maintenance and operational issues/problems within facilities and systems infrastructure
  • Provides electrical engineering and technical support to electrical/mechanical technicians, engineers and process control personnel in troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of complex equipment such as electrical switchgear (low through high voltage), pump/motor controllers, redundant power and distribution systems, as well as process instrumentation, programmable controllers, and communications equipment
  • Conducts field surveys to review and record existing project conditions
  • Consults with various departments, manufacturers, suppliers, consultants and contractors on product quality assurance issues and technology advancements
  • Leads engineers and other technical personnel in the development and design of varied complex projects
  • Inspects electrical construction work in progress and upon completion for adherence to plans and specifications.


Computer Skills:


  • MS Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SKM



Certificates and Licenses:


  • Professional Engineering license preferred.
