Description We are seeking a skilled, Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Lead Engineer with knowledge and proven experience in integration of disparate mission critical systems. To be effective in this role, the candidate will need to get in the weeds, contributing engineering artifacts while also leading a multi-disciplinary engineering team and contributing vision to team growth. Roles and Responsibilities Coordinate and participate in Technical Exchange Meetings with data stakeholders for both ingest and data receipt. Understand customer's goals and deficiencies and propose potential solutions for capability improvement for either side of the interface. Troubleshoot physical connectivity between client and server applications to include firewalls, routing tables, security groups, iptables, etc. Participate in outreach efforts to showcase program capabilities and drive stakeholder engagement Define consistent test methodologies - investigate, recommend, and integrate appropriate tooling to include Software Quality Control reporting Document derived requirements and work with development team to understand requirements and system limitations Interact with teammates and users through whiteboard sessions and/or design documents to establish circular feedback Create new and improve existing high-level engineering documents (e.g. OV1, OV2, SV1) Education and Experience Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 8+ years experience in systems / integration engineering Ports, Protocols, Services Management (PPSM), firewall management Demonstrated knowledge of DevSecOps processes and tooling Kubernetes / Docker experience highly desired Knowledge in the Missile Defense / Missile Warning and Space Situational Awareness areas helpful but not required Experience in various areas of data transport to include RESTful API, Streaming API, SFTP, JMS, Kafka, message brokers, etc Agile work environment experience using Jira or similar work management system Abilities and Competencies Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI polygraph Self-motivated and eager to work intently to satisfy mission requirements Eager and able to rapidly learn new interfaces and technologies Adaptable and has the desire to maintain our company culture Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written communications with internal and external stakeholders of various backgrounds Ability to multitask and adjust priorities as needed Ability to critically evaluate problem spaces and propose solutions in real time In accordance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $150,000 to $225,000. However, Altamira Technologies Corporation considers multiple variables when determining compensation, including but not limited to, the level of responsibilities, prior work experience, education/certifications, customer contractual specifications, and any clearance requirements.
