| What to Expect The Emergency Response Specialist is responsible for responding to medical, fire, technical rescue, and hazardous material related emergencies to protect life safety and building operations. The Emergency Response Specialist will also support the site day-to-day operations including employee engagement and training. This individual will promote continuous improvement of overall Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) processes and systems. What You'll Do
 
  Perform fire suppression, emergency medical treatment, hazardous material mitigation, confined space rescue/standby, and vehicle extrication as neededProvide basic and advanced life support during medical emergencies, including trauma, chemical exposure, or occupational concerns, following On Site Medical (OSM) team processes for optimal patient carePrepare detailed verbal, written, and computer reports on patient condition and careOperate emergency response and powered industrial vehicles safely and efficientlySupport internal and external stakeholders with emergency action plans, drills, and communicationAssist EHS Specialists with safety concerns and coordinate safety supplies (first aid kits, eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, etc.)Support facility operations to minimize loss of production time as well as other duties as assigned by the EHS and emergency response managementWhat You'll Bring
 
  5+ years of experience as a Firefighter/Paramedic (Current National Registry or State of Nevada EMT-P certification)Must have FEMA ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 certifications, and HazMat Awareness/Operations (HazMat Technician Preferred)Valid driver's license required to be able to operate assigned fleetOSHA 10 Certification - Completion required within 3 months of hireMust be able to work past scheduled end-of-shift for staffing or incident holdovers, as well as days, nights, weekends, and holidaysAbility to size-up complex emergency situations and employ appropriate strategies and tactics to minimize lossesAbility to act in accordance with Tesla requirements as well as State and Federal laws, regulations, operational procedures, policies, and statutesCompensation and Benefits
