Sibley Memorial Hospital Sibley Memorial Hospital is a non-profit, full service 318 bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Sibley offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic and skilled nursing inpatient services, as well as a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.
We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT 2) to join our respected team at Sibley Memorial Hospital. This advanced role is ideal for clinicians with a proven track record of excellence in acute and critical care settings. In this position, you will deliver advanced respiratory therapies and manage life support equipment across ICU, Emergency, and inpatient units. You will play a key role in critical care responses, including Code Blue activations, and contribute to clinical leadership by mentoring new staff, supporting onboarding, and leading ongoing competency assessments. Our RRT 2 professionals are expected to demonstrate expert knowledge in airway management, ventilator support, patient assessment, and documentation while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. Salary Range: Minimum 37.02/hour - Maximum 61.07/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
