  Develop building and fire code compliance documents and fire life safety designs for new production lines / materials and other improvement in the facilityPerform hazardous material analysis for code compliances purposes, such as chemical classification, chemical quantity analysis, chemical inventory management, and related system design supportDevelop & create fire protection system design criteria for new production lines / materials and other improvements in the facilityReview and comment on shop drawing design packages developed by contractorsSupport Staff Fire Protection Engineer and other team members to develop AM&M (Alternate Means & Methods) to local AHJ to help with performance-based design criteria to meet intent of codeCoordinate with various disciplines during the design processSupport construction team to develop field solutionsPerform system field inspection and testing observations to ascertain installation meets all design intentsDevelop process improvements / workflows / templates to increase design productivity and quality of deliverablesMentor team members from different functional groupsWhat You'll Bring
 
  LicensedFireProtectionEngineer(CA license required, or able to obtain reciprocity)Minimum 5 years of related experienceDegree in Fire Protection Engineering or equivalent experience
